• Practical assessment and multiple-choice theory assessment

Validity:

• Valid for 3 years with annual refreshers recommended

Course Content:

• Roles and Responsibilities of a First Aider

• Assessing an Emergency Situation

• Administering First Aid for Major Injuries and Illnesses: Chest injuries, spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, and more

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Handling Minor Injuries: Cuts, bruises, burns, etc.

Entry Requirements:

• Age: Minimum 14 years old

• English Level: Minimum Level 1 in English to complete the assessment

Qualification Details:

• Credit Value: 2 credits

• Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 18 hours

Requalification:
